Cupkates--the Bay Area's first mobile cupcake shop--is looking for a full-time baker / retail associate to join our talented and creative pastry team in our East Bay bakery. This employee will assist with our daily production, prep for the morning baking staff, and work several retail shifts (which include driving the truck). We've won the Best of the East Bay and Best of SF awards for Best Overall Food Truck, and we're looking for a passionate employee who takes pride in maintaining that reputation. Our bakery is fast-paced, so expert multi-tasking, effective delegating, working independently, and making split-second decisions are essential to success with our company.
One year experience in a commercial kitchen (not including school) is a must, as is a clean driving record. Mornings and weekends are a requirement. Applicants with a car will be given preference, as deliveries can be a part of the position.
