Peanut caramel corn, Swedish fish, vegan apple cider, strawberry banana, blueberry almond struesel and butterscotch sundae cupcakes!

I was recently in Vermont visiting family and while we stopped by Essex Junction, I didn't get to try any cupcakes, but I plan to go back and will definitely visit My Little Cupcake. All of these photos and descriptions are from their Facebook page.

My Little Cupcake in Vermont is hiring full-time and part-time bakers

Vermont bakery My Little Cupcake, with locations in Burlington and Essex, is hiring. Via their Facebook page:

"My Little Cupcake is hiring...within the next month, we need to hire 2 full-time bakers (one for essex, one for burlington), 2 part-time bakers (one for essex, one for burlington) and 6 part-time counter positions (all in burlington). Bakers MUST be able to pipe frosting from a bag using various tips and will be asked to do so during the interview. If interested, please come to the bakery in essex (mon-fri) and fill out an application. No phone calls or emails, please."

I'm going to Vermont soon, so hopefully I'll get to taste them. They have vegan Tuesday, featuring lots of vegan cupcakes. Visit mylittlecupcakevt.com for more information and see their flavor listings for the full variety.

Vegan s'mores cupcakes with double the marshmallow and chocolate curls on top

If you've been reading this blog for even a month you know that I have a weakness for all things s'mores. All things marshmallow, really, but I love s'mores and I do see a fair number of s'mores cupcakes online but I don't encounter them very often in my cupcake tastings, and I think more bakeries should offer s'mores cupcakes. These look amazing. And they're vegan! And mini - though they look bigger than what I think of as "mini" but that could be the angle of the photo. That just means if they were in front of me I wouldn't feel as bad about eating 5. Or all of them. They're by Angel Cakes in San Francisco (via Flickr), and you can get more info on them in this blog post which I will also quote for you:

First up, s'mores. I've been wanting to do them for a while and had been debating - chocolate cupcakes with icing and graham cracker topping? Or graham flavored cupcake, maybe with a chocolate ganache (to mimic the melty chocolate of smores) plus frosting? I *know* - really important questions, right?

Well since the other flavor I was doing was fruit, i wanted one with a dominant chocolate flavor, so I took a dark chocolate vegan mini cupcake with a vegan vanilla buttercream, a piece of graham cracker, and a dark chocolate curl. I am very happy the way they turned out - very modern. They were quite popular, and a number of people commented that they liked the crunch of the graham cracker. I'll definitely try the reverse, because the idea of a dark chocolate ganache is so tempting!

And the fruit cupcakes referred to are strawberry balsamic cupcakes:

Video: How to make raw vegan cupcakes with Shannonmarie from Rawdorable and her kids!

I've been a fan of the raw food blog Rawdorable and their beautiful cupcakes for a while, and now I've discovered blogger Shannonmarie has videos! Here she has her son filming and her daughter "helping" and walks you step by step through making a raw vegan cupcake inspired by TV. I'm not gonna lie: hearing her talk to her kids while also dishing out cupcake instructions is my favorite part of this video! I also like that she doesn't speed through it, she tells you why she's using each ingredient and how it works. Yes, this is a long video, but I'd rather watch a longer video that walks you through each step than one that leaves things to the imagination. I also like that these are unusual (liquid aminos! paprika! cayenne!). Plus it's funny ("you don't even know what bacon is, you think it's a funny word"). And Happy Anniversary to Shannonmarie and her husband and good job to her son on being a videographer.

If you're not the video type, you can get not just one but two cupcake recipes over at Rawdorable, photos below. They're a strawberry lemonade cupcake and a Maple Fakin' cupcake.
